Alumni Update

Carolann Houle, a Kinesiology graduate who received her B.Sc. (Kin) degree in 2015, is a young woman with a passion for life lived at extreme speeds. In August, Carolann and her team went to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah where she drove a race car at 323 kilometres per hour. This achievement qualified her for an "A" category driver's license which permits speeds of up to 398 km/h! Racing at such high speeds requires focus, excellent reflexes, nerves of steel and a support team that includes her father, Omer. Carolann and Omer built her race car together and it remains a family project as they continue to work on it together.
