KIN LIFE presents Find Your Future: A fireside chat with alumni

The KIN Life – Learn, Work, Play is a College of Kinesiology initiative designed to create outstanding experiential learning opportunities for Kinesiology Students, and other students actively involved in programs administered by the College of Kinesiology.

Each year, KIN LIFE hosts events for students involved in our academic program, USask Rec, Campus Recreation, and Huskie Athletics that will all benefit from this program’s training, educational opportunities, seminars, and practical learning experiences.

Every January, students look forward to the Find Your Future event that brings back kinesiology alumni to share their career stories and offer advice on pathways students can take utilizing their kinesiology degrees.

This year, we brought back six alumni to speak to students. Five were invited to sit on the panel, while one was approached to host as the moderator. The college welcomed back;

  • Sydney Clark’21 – Exercise Therapist
  • Brendan Neudorf’19 - Nurse
  • Bethany Verma’16 – Recreation professional and Health Promotion
  • Ian Hayes’07 – Medical Sales
  • Mason Beaulieu’22 – USask medical student
  • Moderator Michelle Dezell’93 – Athlete Compliance Officer, Huskie Athletics

The event brought out over 30 students to hear from and engage with our alumni.
