Student Achievements

Kyra Ives, a second year student in the College of Kinesiology, was recently recognized with an Aboriginal Achievement Award. Ms. Ives has proven to be an outstanding student who continues to maintain a high academic average while balancing the roles of being a full time student and Huskie athlete. Through her community involvement and volunteering, Ms. Ives has demonstrated an appreciation for the value of an active lifestyle in addition to the rewards that come through helping others. Her commitment to excellence in the classroom, on the track, and in working with community members makes her a truly deserving recipient of this honour.

At the same ceremony, Avery Michael, a Huskie athlete on the men's soccer team, also received a College of Arts and Science second year award.
