Physical Activity Complex

The PAC is a state-of-the-art, showcase building, and is the only facility on campus that services all 19,500 students, 4,500 faculty and staff, alumni, and thousands from the community who participate in our Community Programs. The building, favourably situated near one of the main entrances to the University, is a landmark and a hub of activity. In addition, to meet the academic needs of students and faculty, the PAC contains five classrooms, a lecture theatre and state-of-the-art laboratories. All are constructed to the highest standards and frequented by hundreds of students and distinguished faculty over the course of the academic year.
The PAC offers many unique amenities that will be available to all WCCRC guests including:
Fitness Centre - All the equipment you'll need for a complete workout in over 1,500 square metres of space. Trained professional staff are always on hand to assist you. Open 6:30am - 10:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am - 9:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
Tri Gym - The triple-gymnasium is the main venue for all U of S court sports, activity classes, and many other university and community events.
Walk/Jog Track - A 210 metre, four lane, recreational track for our guests to use - it also acts as a mezzanine and entrance point for spectators attending PAC gymnasium events.
Climbing Wall - The 12 metre high 'natural' wall with 6 independent routes and trained professional staff to ensure your climbing experience is enjoyable. A short $5 instructional course is required before climbing.
Dance Studio - Our dance studio is complete with stage lighting, sound system and spectator seating.
Racquetball/Squash Courts - Four courts are available for booking at WCCRC (click here to book in advance if possible).
Swimming Pool - Our junior olympic dimension pool provides a wide variety of water programs, including member swim which guests can attend.
Meeting Rooms/Class Rooms - The PAC offers 8 well equipped spaces for meetings and/or workshops and accommodates groups up to 125 people.
