Honours for Kinesiology researchers

Dr. Nancy Gyurcsik was recognized at the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation 2017 Santé Awards Evening

Dr. Nancy Gyurcsik was among those recognized by the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF) for their outstanding contributions to creating a culture of innovation and health research in the province.  At the annual Santé event, Nancy received an Excellence Award for the top-rated 2016-17 Collaborative Innovation Development Grant in the socio-health, systems and clinical stream. Nancy and her team including co-PI Susan Tupper, as well as fellow Kinesiology faculty, Bart Arnold and Larry Brawley, are developing and testing a program that increases the capacity of exercise providers to counsel exercise participants with chronic non-cancer pain.
